Occupational Therapist - Specialized in Child Health in Kochi, Kerala

I am pleased to introduce myself as anOccupational Therapist specialised in child health, graduated (BOT) from KMCH College of Occupational Therapy and my post graduation(MOT) from Manipal College of Allied Health Sciences, both institutes recognised by AIOTA and WFOT.
My course, research and work backgroundfrom reputed institutions, have supplied me with many skills and knowledge to be successful in my profession.
As a trained professional in the field of Occupational Therapy, the areas where I can nurture my professional skills and make some significant contribution
· Neuro Development Therapy (NDT) and Biomechanical Approach to facilitate gross motor function of children with developmental delay,
· Sensory Integration Therapy (SI)
· Oral-motor dysfunction
· Visual-perceptual dysfunctions
· Neonatal Habilitation (NICU) for high Risk infants
· Handwriting difficulties with learning disability
· Positioning and assistive devices for children with disabilities
· Activity analysis
· ADL training, making person-task-environment fit
· Hand splinting.
I also wish to highlight that i am planing to start a Child Development Center/Child Habilitation Unit at Kochi, Kerala. in near future.
